Freezing rain, depression, lack of jobs, litter on streets.

Guaranteed hot summers for boating on the lake, Halloween, shopping, great job.

The food, the people, walks in the countryside, Blackpool and the Pantos, decent fish & chips and a real fry up!

Dog mess on the pavement, endless searching for parking, and rapidly rising house prices.

Being near Victoria, BC so we can get an English fix on a regular basis. We would be home in a flash if the Pound and Dollar were not so far apart. We love England and will be back to stay.

The weather is the best. Very hot 112 degrees in summer (sometimes more) but a cool comfortable 75 in winter. No snow - but it is only a two hour drive to Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon.

The weather and the freedom it gives you to travel with a swag (a sleeping bag) anywhere you like. To swim and fish in the rivers and creeks without permission.

A good glass of strongbow cider, a good curry, fish & chips, fresh cream cakes at the bakeries, my wonderful 90 year grandma (Hi Grandma) and my relatives and friends. Transit system, and last but not least, socialized medicine.

The weather and the rest I will find out when I go and visit in December after 10 years.
