George Jackson dips into the BBC Radio Lancashire archives and plays 'A Night Out' again which looks at the role of working men's clubs.

Paul O'Gorman joined St Paul's Institute in Blackburn and came across a number of characters and stumbled across a bit of controversy.

From Alan the artist who out stayed his welcome on stage, cheap beer and a few sweats on the bingo - St Paul's had it all!
