Constructed in the 1800's as a resort in the style of St. Leonard's on Sea, to cater for the needs of the residents in Lancashire towns, Fleetwood has always been primarily known as a fishing port. These days the town's fishing industry is only a shadow of its former self however, with only a handful of trawlers in the dock. Elsie Riches is the Smoke House manager for C&G Neves in the resort and has been explaining more about fish preparation, and how the fishing industry has changed...
