Zoltan

Blackpool life

Zoltan from Hungary tells us what it's like studying - tourism of course! - in Blackpool...

Best known for its donkeys, ‘kiss me quick hats’, sticks of rock, not to mention all the amusement arcades and the Tower, Blackpool certainly isn't short of quirky features.

They might not seem all that odd to us, but what do you think you'd make them if you were from a different country?

Zoltan is from Hungary and currently lives and works in Blackpool, because he is using the resort as the focus of his university studies.

Living so far away from home the Palatine Library in Blackpool is a lifeline for Zoltan. Not only does he use it as a research resource, but it also plays an integral part in keeping in touch with loved ones…
