How to make your own portfolio checklist

Activity 4:

Now you're ready to put together your final checklist. This will be everything from the second column in Task 3. Check there is no repetition.

Download your blank 'final checklist' document from here.
Click on this link. Choose the Save option, and save the document onto your own computer.

You should also include any other things that you might need to do. For example:

  • Include an index at the front of your evidence
  • Include a reminder to write your Evidence Records
  • Put together a student profile for the front of your folder:

Have a look at the example we've put together, based on the examples from the previous three activities.

ACTIVITY 4 Example

Once your final checklist is done, you can put it in your portfolio. It makes sense to put it all in alphabetical order, to make it easier to check for repetition.

If you use Excel, Access or Word to produce the checklist, it can automatically be sorted into alphabetical order, or in the order in which you plan to carry out the tasks.

Finally, show your checklist to your tutor/teacher to make sure there's nothing missing. It's important to check it all through with a tutor/teacher, so that you're sure you've included all the evidence you need in your final list.
