You should have printed out a copy of the standards relevant to your course. This guide will tell you what it all means and explain how it's set out. You can cross reference these notes with the standards you've printed out. You'll notice that your standards are made up of three pages: - The Front Cover
- Part A
- Part B
- Back Page: Examples and Guidance
 | Front Cover | This is the introduction to the standards. It tells you what Key Skills are and how you will be able to progress to the next level. The information in the boxes give you a summary of what's coming up in Part A and Part B. At the bottom of the page is a summary of what you need to achieve to pass this level.
 | Part A | Part A is the second page. This gives you details of everything you need to know. It tells you what skills you need, in order to complete your work successfully. Have a careful look through this on your printout.
 | Part B | Part B tells you what you must be able to prove you can do. It gives you details on what your evidence must be able to show and tells you what you need to include in your evidence. It also tells you how many different tasks or activities you need to do. Have a careful look through this on your printout.
 | Back Page: Examples and Guidance | The back page gives you more information and examples of the knowledge you need for Part A. Have a careful look through this on your printout.
