| Following extensive user feedback, the editorial focus of the BBC Kent website has changing to enhance our coverage of local news-related issues and features. The Romany Roots messageboard no longer fits the local news focus of the BBC Kent website, and so has been closed. In the six years since the board was started there has been a very significant growth in social media websites, which are specifically designed to host online discussions. We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the board over the last six years. We have had some fascinating discussions, and we hope we have managed to raise awareness of some of the issues affecting Romany Gypsies. We are always keen to hear of stories about, or affecting Kent's Roms, so please get in touch by email ([email protected]) if you have a story you think we could feature online, on radio or on TV. Many thanks, and best wishes, BBC Kent. |
