World-class athletics comes from the Chinese city of Xiamen as it welcomes a Diamond League meeting for the very first time in a state-of-the-art arena.

Replacing Shenzhen as a host city, the Egret Stadium has a capacity of 53,000 and is set to be full to watch an array of the world’s best athletes in action. Competition should be fierce, with only two meetings left this season in Brussels and Eugene.

One of the headline events will be in the men’s 110m hurdles as 2019 and 2022 world champion Grant Holloway of the USA goes head-to-head with Jamaica’s Olympic champion Hansle Parchment, while the home crowd will be enthralled by the progress of Bin Feng as the 2022 World Championships gold medallist competes in the women’s discus.
