The programme suggests that the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders arrived in Malaya in 1941 from the UK. In fact, the Argylls had been deployed in India and Malaya prior to this date and trained in jungle warfare.
The story of the fall of Singapore in 1942. The second part shows how General Yamashita drove back Commonwealth forces and assembled his troops to take control of Singapore Island.
