What a Cheeky Girl!News image

Cheeky Girls

Cheeky Girls consists of two twin sisters called ‘Monica’ and ‘Gabrielle’. They were desperate for fame and their dreams proved successful when they got famous from appearing on two different reality television shows.

The Cheeky Girls amused viewers after performing their infectious tune "Touch My Bum (The Cheeky Song)" on the hit series "Pop Stars: The Rivals" last Autumn.

After being labelled the 'worst act I've ever seen' by Pete Waterman and told they were not through to the final. The girls returned on a different television show called ‘Model Behaviour’ and didn’t get put through to the final of that again.

So they were not going to give up and decided to re-enter the audition process of "Pop Stars: The Rivals" and funnily enough did not get through again but got noticed by record bosses and got signed for their amusing type of music.

From being signed, the girls released their debut single "Touch My Bum (The Cheeky Song)". Of course the song was a huge hit and everyone wanted to know who the Cheeky Girls were.

They have appeared on lots of tours and recently had a hit with ‘Take Your Shoes Off’ which stormed the top 10 and now they return with their brilliant new single ‘Hooray Hooray (It’s A Cheeky Holiday). The girls are doing lots of other tours during the summer.
