My father ...was a member of the 3rd wave to hit Omaha Beach...he's now 89 years old and dying ...in a hospital...he never saw the WWII memorial in Washington...and he never went back to visit Omaha beach ....I was watching the ceremonies on the 6th of June...and I thought it would have been wonderful if he could have been there ...

I was searching for a way to look up his service records and found this sight...if anyone knows how I can do that I would appreciate the information...I would like to have copies of his service records to frame and allow people family and friends to see it...to know that my Father was there that day...and fought his way all the back home...had he not survived those years I wouldn't be writing on this site...so if anyone knows how I can get the records I would be grateful...God bless you and I hope to hear from you soon...
