Albert lived with his wife and two young children in a bungalow at Portman Drive, Woodford Green, Essex. One Friday night a bomb fell on Roding Lane. It blew all the back windows out of the bungalow. On the Sunday of the same weekend, a rocket fell in front of the bungalow and this time it blew all the front windows out!
