My father in India.
This story is about my fathers time in India. he was a fellow of the "De La Salle Christian Brothers".
In the autumn of 1934 he came to Colombo, Sri Lanka (former Ceylon)for additional education.
In 1935 he teached Mulmein Myanmar(former Burma/Birma)
In 1938 he teached in Rangoon High School.
In 1942 he was brought to the CIC (Civilian Internment Camp) Dehra Dun, Premnagar, because he was a german.
He has been there until the end of the war in 1945/46.
During his internment in 1942 he left the order of the Christian Brothers because there was no other fellow to renew the vow.
