| TimeStrip The TimeStrip is an interactive timeline. It develops enquiry skills and puts the periods covered into context. Points on the TimeStrip are brushed over with a mouse to discover the personalities within. Each point on the TimeStrip presents a conversational introduction from a person in history. |
| Which Came First? Which Came First? is a chronology quiz. The user must guess from the surroundings, clothing and activities of the people in the photos which historical period each represents. They then must put these periods in order. These pictures are taken from the Walk Through Time BBC TV series, and will be updated on a weekly basis. |
| Print-outs There are 16 print-outs suitable for both classroom and home use. There are four print-outs each to support four skills: observation, reflection, enquiry, and communication. They offer a cross-section of the five periods covered in the site: Roman, Viking, Tudor, Victorian and the 1950s. |
