The Escape Fall mixtape

We took a look through the record collections of 'emo-rockers' The Escape Fall to see what music makes them tick.

The Escape Fall finished recording their debut album, 'Let's Hope They Hear This', in March 2008, so when visiting their rehearsal space in St Andrews I took the chance to question the band about their influences.

Ranging from the emo-punk of My Chemical Romance, through the prog like sounds of Muse to the soulful funk rock of The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Escape Fall have been inspired by a real mix of rock music styles.

This is the list of tracks the band chose that they say have been a major influence on them whilst writing their album....

Tracklisting

1. Seventy Times Seven - Brand New
2. Cute Without the E - Taking Back Sunday
3. I'm Not Okay (I Promise) - My Chemical Romance
4. Stockholm Syndrome - Muse
5. Talk Show Host - Radiohead
6. Times Like These - Foo Fighters
7. Californication - Red Hot Chili Peppers
