Results from the St Peter Port South District in the 2008 Election declared at 01:35 on Thursday 24 April. Elected Deputies and number of votes:Barry Brehaut 989 Unsuccessful Candidates and number of votes:Richard Whitford 651 1,697 or 50.47% of voters on the electoral roll turned out to vote. All three of the standing deputies were re-elected to the house joined by two new candidates and one who had previous stood in 2004.
