Band History

Third Time Lucky started back in May 2005 when they found their current singer at a party, and they decided to call themselves this because of Danny being their third singer.

Their first gig was in July 2005 and they played a full set of originals to an amazing crowd who loved every minute and it all went without a hitch (apart from Danny breaking his friend's spine!)

They recorded their debut EP, 'Love Etc' after being together for only 4 months and acquired a large fan base both in Guernsey and the UK. The band all have different influences which makes for a truly unique sound and a mixture of genres spanning from blues to punk.

Having moved to the UK at the end of the summer of 2006 the band called it a day and posted the following message on their MySpace page:

"Sorry guys but 3tl has come to its end. Thanks for all the support from everyone over the last year, it means a lot to us. All will still be friends and expect a couple of awesome bands to come from the break up who hopefully one day, will be playing together. Thanks again..."

Summer 2007 however saw the band return for what was initially planned to be a brief reunion, but quickly became a full blown reformation.

This all ended as the band finally dissolved in early 2008 before they had the chance to record their second album.

Danny says: "Every gig is my favourite gig as I try harder at each one, having people sing my lyrics back to me's the best feeling in the world :-)"
