We want you to make short film clips of everyday life to be shown here on the web as part of Video Nation Gloucestershire.

But don't worry if you don't have a camera or have never used one, as we'll guide you through the whole process. All you need is the enthusiasm!

It doesn’t matter what your age or circumstances are - we can give you all the help you need. And if you don’t like the end result, then it won’t get shown.

So what kind of thing might you film?
Well, it's completely up to you. What’s important to you? What makes you happy? What makes you angry? What makes you tick? Whatever you want to film.

So what happens next?
Well, once you've applied for Video Nation, we'll get in touch if we like your idea and take you through the whole process.

But to get you started here are a few things for you to think about.

Filming tips

Things to think about when fiming
1. It's your story - get yourself on camera!
2. Static shots are best
3. Hold each shot for at least 5 seconds
4. Don't use the zoom!
5. A separate microphone gives much better sound
6. Film four or five cutaways, using the tripod

Video Gloucestershire is about the little details of life as well as the big ones, the lows as well as the highs, the funny moments as well as the deep ones.

Intrigued?
