Title:The Demon Drink

Patrick had been an alcoholic for 30 years when he collapsed after a particularly heavy drinking session.

The experience led him to reflect on his life and he made the decision that he would give up the drink for himself and his own future.

It was a defining moment for Patrick because he felt the 'drinking demon' leave his body there and then. He knew he wouldn't need alcohol any more.

Now he has embraced his new life and is keeping busy by catching up with his learning - something he feels is vital if he is to put drinking behind him once and for all.
