Gloscat - or Gloucestershire College of Arts and Technology to give its full name - is one of the largest further education colleges in the UK. It offers a wide range of education and training programmes for the 16-plus age group. These include A Levels, GCSEs, vocational qualifications, work-based learning, basic skills courses, higher education, short courses for business, part-time day and evening courses and English for overseas students. The college has two main sites - a brand new, state-of-the-art campus at Princess Elizabeth Way, Cheltenham and the city campus in Brunswick Road, Gloucester, which incorporates the Centre for the Arts. Cheltenham Campus This has a state-of-the-art design and includes virtual language labs, hi-tech classrooms, sixth form centre, modern hair and beauty salon, sports centre and gym, Renaissance Restaurant and Academy of Culinary Excellence.
