Ozzy Osbourne tribute band Wizards of Oz is probably the closest you'll get these days to seeing the Prince of Darkness himself without having to travel to Hollywood and befriend the Ozmeister, or one of his family or pets.

Perfect renditions

Tim Jones

The band knocks out almost perfect copycat renditions of Ozzy's hits, along with equally accurate versions of some of the classic hits from Black Sabbath.

It's made up of Mike Jurgens on vocals, Tim Jones on guitar, Pete Antonius on bass, Andy Greig on keyboards, and Sean Feeley on drums.

Latest album

Wizards of Oz were formed in 1998 by Mike, and cover every aspect of Ozzy's career right up to the latest album "Down to Earth".

Songs on the set list regularly include classics such as "I don't know", "Mr Crowley", "Bark at the Moon", "Killer of Giants", "No more tears" and "Perry Mason".

There could also be some rare songs included in the set, such as "Spiders" or "Fire in the Sky", and even some never even played by Ozzy himself.

Ozzy's axemen

Guitarist Tim Jones recreates the sound of all of Ozzy's axemen from down the years - namely Randy Rhodes, Jake E Lee and Zakk Wylde.

Mike Jurgens as Ozzy

The band had recently announced they were going to take a well-deserved short break from performing, but say the temptation of playing a one-off gig at the Corn Hall in Cirencester was one they couldn't resist.

Tim Jones said, "We have been wanting to play this for a long time. A good sized local venue - fantastic!".

Monsters of Rock

The band have steadily built up a reputation as a class act, and have played on the 'Monsters of Rock' tour with other top rock tribute acts such as Fred Zeppelin, ABCD, Gunz n' Rozes, and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.
