Buses, trains and taxis won't be too disrupted over the festive season, apart from the major festival days. Here are all the details:
STAGECOACH - Any problems call 0870 6082608 (local rates apply). Normal service up to 23rd December 2004. 24th December - Saturday timetable, but be warned that the last bus runs at 7.30pm 25th December - Christmas Day - NO SERVICES 26th December - Boxing Day - Special services on routes 10 and 94 (Cheltenham - Gloucester) approx. every ½ hour. NO OTHER SERVICES. 27th & 28th December - Special timetable which will be an improved Sunday service. Timetables available from drivers and travel shops. 29th & 30th December - Normal Saturday Service. 31st December - Saturday timetable with last buses running at 7.30pm except a late night service on route 94 Cheltenham to Gloucester. 1st January - New Years Day - Gloucester to Hereford service only. 2nd & 3rd January - Normal Sunday service. 4th January - We're Back In Business!.
OTHER BUS SERVICES IN THE COUNTY As a general rule of thumb there will be normal services up to the 24th December 25-26-27th December - No Services 29-30-31st December - Normal services No services 1-2-3rd January 4th January - We're Back In Business!.

YOUR CAR So what happens if your car breaks down on Christmas Day on the way to the in-laws? Don't panic, help is at hand. The AA - www.theaa.com 0800 887766 RAC - www.rac.co.uk 0800 82 82 82 Both operate a 365 day service, but you may wait a little longer than normal.
PETROL STATIONS Even if your car is running well, it still needs petrol so our advice is to make sure that you're topped up before the holidays. But if you do find yourself running on the red line, below are some of the garages that will be open:
