Red button alert

Don't miss a thing! By pushing the red button you can get even closer to the show gardens, without even leaving your armchair.

Filming a walkabout with Carol Klein

Interactive TV

If you have digital TV - that's digital satellite, digital cable or Freeview - you can use the legendary red button to view the Chelsea plant exhibits and show gardens at your leisure. It's free to use, and will be available every day of the show, from Monday 21 May to Saturday 26 May.

To access the service simply press the red button on your remote control, and follow the link to Chelsea Interactive.

Once you're in Chelsea Interactive you'll find:

Exclusive show garden tours: each day we'll present a series of exclusive films featuring the show gardens at Chelsea. The designers themselves will take you on a tour of their masterpieces, highlighting the planting and design features that they hope will make their garden the best in show.

The selection of gardens changes daily so make sure you press red every day during Chelsea week to view all this year's show gardens. There will be instructions accompanying each garden tour, about how to vote in the prestigious BBC RHS People's Award. The People's Award is your opportunity to vote for your favourite show and the award will be presented on Saturday 26 May.

Carol Klein and Chris Beardshaw Walkabout: each day Carol and Chris will take you into the heart of the show, giving you the chance to get up close and personal with the plants in the floral marquee and showground. They will be weaving their way through the pavilions and small gardens, looking at the plants in more detail and talking to the growers about their exhibits.

  • Latest TV coverage: if you miss the Chelsea programmes on BBC One and BBC Two during Chelsea week, satellite and cable viewers can catch up on the latest coverage.
