If you have digital TV that's digital satellite, digital cable or Freeview - you can use the legendary red button to get closer to the Chelsea plant exhibits and show gardens from the comfort of your armchair. It's free to use, and will be available every day of the show, from Monday 22 May to Saturday 27 May.

To access the service simply press the red button on your remote control, and follow the link to Chelsea Interactive.

Once you're in Chelsea Interactive you'll find:

  • Exclusive garden tours: each day we'll present a series of exclusive films featuring the show gardens at Chelsea. The designers themselves will take you on a tour of their masterpieces, highlighting the planting and design features thay they hope will make their garden the best in show. The selection of gardens changes daily so make sure you press red every day during Chelsea week to view all this year's show gardens. There will be instructions accompanying each garden tour, about how to vote in the prestigious BBC RHS People's Award. The People's Award is your opportunity to vote for your favourite show and the award will be presented on Saturday 27 May.

  • Carol Klein's Walkabout: each day Carol will take you into the heart of the show, giving you the chance to get up close and personal with the plants in the floral marquee. She'll be weaving her way through the pavilions and small gardens, looking at the plants in more detail and talking to the growers about their exhibits.

Download audio tours of the show gardens

This year the BBC is giving you the chance to download audio tours for all the 19 Chelsea show gardens to your computer.

Once downloaded these audio tours can put onto an mp3 player or mobile phone which will allow you to listen to them at your leisure. If you are visiting Chelsea this year, you can even use them as a guided tour as you walk around the showground.

The files are compressed into one file, that will allow you to easily download all of the 19 individual mp3s in one go. Once downloaded, you will need to decompress the files. If you’re unsure how to do this, our webwise guide will help.

Once you have decompressed the files, you can put them onto your mp3 player using the software provided with your device.
