Whistleblowing

Whistleblowing

The BBC Whistleblowing framework is intended for the receipt, management, and investigation of concerns of serious malpractice occurring within BBC operations, whether committed by individuals or at a corporate level. Ordinarily, these are concerns in which there is a wider ‘public interest’, and can relate to issues such as health and safety, malpractice or wrongdoing impacting on others including breaches of the law. If you have a concern about malpractice involving the operations of the BBC you should raise it with the person who hired you, or your manager, if you feel you can. You can do this verbally or in writing. You can also email the BBC Whistleblowing team on [email protected].

Alternatively, you can raise your concern anonymously to the BBC Whistleblowing team via Navex Global, which is an external reporting platform. You can do this by clicking here or calling their reporting line on 0800 890 011. At the prompt, dial 833 573 1750. If you are outside of the UK or wish to make a report in a language other than English, click here.
