Creating a blissful mix of dance orientated pop, Southend’s Youth Club are an authentic summer soundtrack for music lovers of any genre.
The six piece create a sound that features touches of BBC Introducing alumni Two Door Cinema Club and other established acts such as Little Comets and Jungle. Their songs showcase a punchy blend of trebly guitars, sparse keys and crisp snare hits, immediately grabbing you with their darting melodies.
BBC Introducing in Essex are big fans and have been supporting the boys with airplay since 2014. They’ve also featured on Tom Robinson’s BBC Introducing Mixtape for 6 Music. With their EP ‘Brothers’ released earlier this year, the Youth Club boys head into Big Weekend with some serious momentum.
