    Olive oil vs sunflower oil vs rapeseed oil

    Here are those results again - absolutely no change in heart disease markers over 6 weeks for either rapeseed oil (high in monounsaturates) or sunflower oil. (high in polyunsaturates)

    No group significantly improved in heart disease score (where -1 is completely healthy and +1 is symptomatic coronary artery disease) over the 6 week period.

    The research team are carrying on the study for another 6 weeks - we'll update the website with their results when they come in.

    Remember and pass on those symptoms of sepsis - it could happen to you, or someone you know, at any time: 

    • Slurred speech or confusion
    • Extreme shivering
    • Passing no urine in a day
    • Severe breathlessness
    • 'I feel like I might die'
    • Skin rash or mottled skin

    If you spot these symptoms - don't ignore them and seek medical attention as quickly as possible, sharing your concern that it might be sepsis.
