Finally today, one for you to consider over your pumpkin cocktails...

Radiohead formed at least 10 years before Coldplay but according to a Fox News host in the States Thom Yorke et al "stole everything from Coldplay".

Yup, pretty astounding claims. Greg Gutfeld even went so far as to call Radiohead "a poor man's Coldplay".

Even Coldplay themselves saw the funny side of this...

    "Bring it on"

    1) Pink and Christina Aguilera had a bar-room brawl

Pink scored her second UK number one album with Beautiful Trauma last weekend.

While plugging the new record, the Beautiful Trauma star told US chat show host Andy Cohen about the time that Christina Aguilera swung for her in a nightclub.

Pink said she found it "hilarious".

They've made peace now thankfully although we're not sure what Aguilera will make of Pink laughing off her fighting attempts.

We bet Christina fights dirty, external too...

    Robbie Williams

    2) Robbie Williams was in intensive care

The 43-year-old singer this week told fans that he cancelled three recent gigs in Russia as he was recovering from a "worrying" illness which had left him intensive care.

“Unfortunately, that illness kicked in just at the end of my tour, a tour which was going so well," he said.

“Then I got some test results. They were very worrying and I ended up in ICU, so I couldn’t go.”

He added: "I haven’t pulled out of a tour for bad health since 1998 so you know if I can’t do it then there’s something going on that I just can’t do it."

Check out the video below in which The Robster confirms that he's on the road to recovery and enjoying his new vegan lifestyle. Except for "a really big burger on a Sunday."

Janet Jackson and Justin TimberlakeImage source, Getty Images

    3) Nipplegate is back

    That's right. You heard correctly.

The NFL announced on Monday that Justin Timberlake would be invited back to perform as the main headliner for the 'greatest show on earth' aka Superbowl 2018.

The performance is set to come 14 years after his role in Janet Jackson's infamous "wardrobe malfunction" at the same event. Janet's invite to next year's show was noticeable by it's absence however, prompting the hashtag #JusticeForJanet to trend online.

The 2004 performance saw JT rip off part of Jackson's bodice, exposing her right breast and caused broadcaster CBS to receive a record fine. Many believe that Janet, who this year gave birth to her first baby - aged 50, has since seen her career suffer as a result while Justin's star continues to shine.

    The campaign soon gathered pace.

    4) Katy Perry will crash your wedding

    Make no mistake.

KP rocked up at the Four Season Hotel in St Louis, Missouri on Saturday, ahead of her Witness tour gig in the city the following day. As it happened Blonie Dudney and Hayley Rosenblum (above) were also there in order to get hitched.

Never one to miss out on the fun, Katy - who was briefly married herself to Essex comedian-turned-philosopher Russell Brand - went down and asked if it was okay for her and her 30-40 strong crew to crash the party,

The rest, as they say, is wedding day photobook history.

We know you need a Witness for a wedding but that's taking it a bit far.

    5) Fats Domino was loved by many

Tributes poured in from around the music world on Wednesday following the death of one of the original rock 'n' rollers Fats Domino.

You can scroll down today's page for Sir Paul McCartney's own tribute.

As well as being loved in music circles it seems Fats was also loved within his own neighbourhood. Catherine Boveland, who grew up in the same Lower Ninth district of New Orleans told BBC Outside Source that the singer was "extremely popular".

She said: "Weekends when Fats was in town he would buy ice cream for any kid in the neighbourhood."

Joining regular hosts Greg James and A.Dot for the first episode is guest presenter Jason Derulo who reckons we definitely need it in our lives.

  8. Kelly Clarkson loves being 'a whole lotta woman'published at 14:59 BST 27 October 2017

    Kelly ClarksonImage source, Getty Images

Kelly Clarkson's back with her eighth studio album today and the first on her new label Atlantic.

She had a fair few ups and downs while she was with previous label RCA and has admitted to Rolling Stone, external that she "almost quit three times".

"I was just like, 'You know, there's a lot of sacrifice going on here, and not a lot of happiness.' That doesn't make it worth it as a human – forget being an artist or anything else."

The ambitiously-titled new album Meaning Of Life, Kelly says, was an "incredible experience" to make in a collaborative way with her new label and is the first one that sounds as close to her live shows as possible.

The US Magazine pick out the track Whole Lotta Woman, which features members of Earth Wind & Fire, as one of the album's standout tracks, calling it "a fiery ode to being 'too much'".

Kelly recalled discussing the track with co-writers/producers Novawav.

    Quote Message

It was really fun to talk to them about how it took me a while to fall in love because I am a whole lot of woman – I have a big personality, I'm a grown-ass woman that can pay her bills, and I make a lot of money. That's intimidating.

Oscar-winning actress Emma Thompson has revealed that she is a secret mosher.

    Who knew?

The Love Actually star told Graham Norton that she thought she would meet her maker in a rowdy crowd watching Sheffield's finest at Reading Festival.

She's also not a fan of festival loos (but then who is?)

Emma said: "There were 90,000 teenagers and me with my 54-year-old mate.

"I initially thought how nice it was until two things happened.

    Emma Thompson
    Quote Message

First, I got into the mosh pit while the Arctic Monkeys were playing and I was so crushed in and moved up and down by people I thought 'Oh, now is when I die. I always wondered when it would be, but I didn't picture this'.

She added: "Then the toilets overflowed and you had to walk through it.

"I thought 'This literally is hell'.

"It was grim and I am never going again."

Watch the interview in full tonight on BBC One at 22:35 BST and see if Emma moshes in a similar manner to Morrissey, safe in the knowledge that the green room loos are just a few yards away.

Gregory Porter is back with a new album of Nat King Cole covers, external.

He told BBC Music reporter Kev Geoghegan that the political climate at the moment should be inspiring musicians to create music to connect people from all walks of life.

"In a way it's time for artists and thoughtful people to get to work," he said. "It's a serious time and I think that opposition will be reflected in the music.

"People will rage against that machine but there will also be some thoughtful people who will find some craft or word to speak directly to the people who allow for this type of negative energy.

"It's why the last line of [Nat King Cole's] song Nature Boy, external is important to me: 'The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return'."

Yesterday we told you about Morrissey's new track I Wish You Lonely and we gave it a miserablist rating of 11.

The track will feature on new LP Low in High School which is released on 17 November.

And you'll soon get a chance to hear his new music live as he's just announced a UK tour - with a very dramatic video of Morrissey performing on stage put to operatic music.

Some fans are a bit upset there's no Manchester date at the moment.

Here are the full tour dates below.

Michael Ball, Alfie BoeImage source, Getty Images

Michael Ball and Alfie Boe are celebrating the release of their second album together (obviously entitled Together Again) by attempting to break a world record.

They'll attempt to make the most public appearances by a musical act in 24 hours, by visiting five record stores in five cities nationwide.

    That's the plan at least...

The pair secured the Christmas Number 1 album last year with Together which spent five weeks at the top spot.

So they're going all out to give this album an equally good start - which started this morning in the mist.

  17. Stormzy's 'proudest moment'published at 11:34 BST 27 October 2017

    StormzyImage source, Getty Images

Stormzy's rise continues apace - he's celebrating after his track Blinded By Your Grace Pt 2 made it onto the Radio playlist. The A List, no less - the height of mainstream success.

He tweeted it was "genuinely one of his proudest moments" and said thanks to everyone at Radio 2 as "this means a lot".

Hopefully Stormzy fan Bradley Walsh will have more chances to hear the song now and learn the right words.

  18. Liam Gallagher promises 'biblical' capital gigpublished at 11:16 BST 27 October 2017

    Liam GallagherImage source, Reuters

He may only be a "common pigeon" (according to his brother - scroll down for more) but Liam Gallagher's feeling pretty pleased with himself right now after selling out his Finsbury Park gig within minutes this morning.

Plenty more acts to be added to the bill for next summer's London mini festival gig but Liam's promising big things already.

Some fans know who they'd like to see alongside LG on the day/night, while others just hope he doesn't "forget his roots" and puts on a similar event up north.

Another star coming under fire online is US comedian Ellen DeGeneres for her tweet to Katy Perry wishing her happy birthday.

Her tweet says: "Happy birthday Katy Perry, it's time to bring out the big balloons!"

    The rest is self-explanatory above.

Some people online have suggested that a man could not get away with this gag.

But she has been defended by plenty of fans too, who point out that Ellen is referencing one of her pal's own song lyrics.

Birthday, from KP's 2013 album Prism, contains the lyrics: "So let me get you in your birthday suit // It's time to bring out the big, big, big, big, big, big balloons"

  20. Noel Gallagher escapes Fort Knox in psychadelic new music videopublished at 10:34 BST 27 October 2017

    Noel GallagherImage source, Getty Images

Now this is Noel as we've never heard him before, Oasis fans.

The second cut from his forthcoming album Who Built the Moon? is a trippy groove, containing lots of alarm clocks and not a lot of singing.

For that reason we can't see brother Liam liking it, but we love it.

Noel has described the new album as the 'favourite' one he's ever done but it seems he's sick of talking about his younger rock 'n' roll sibling.

    He told Q Magazine, external:
