    Well, that's it really.

Remember to do your duty and vote this evening - Alex Turner needs you (or, at least, his beard does).

And then there's Eurovision! Six acts will finally face their own personal Waterloo.

You have only yourself to blame for the ear-splitting outcome, if you don't get involved....

But before you go - listen to You Decide hosts Mel and Mans talking to Ken Bruce about the UK's chances of winning.

"This might be the big break," says former winner Mans.

    He's excited, are you?!

    Quote Message

"I wish Youth Music every success with Give a Gig Week and hope others will join me in supporting their valuable work.”

We just hope they haven't got him down for a gig on the Sunday, as that's obviously when he prefers to just chill.

Remember this sexually curious pop banger from 2008?

    Of course you do.

Well now its singer, Katy Perry, has admitted that her breakthrough 2008 track might need a re-think to fit in with modern perception of sexuality.

The 33-year-old singer admits that the narrative of the song does contain “a couple of stereotypes”.

At the time, Gossip frontwoman Beth Ditto described the track, which sees Katy dabble in some same sex romance behind her boyfriend's back, as "offensive to gay culture".

Now KP has told Glamour, external: “We’ve really changed, conversationally, in the past 10 years. We’ve come a long way. Bisexuality wasn’t as talked about back then, or any type of fluidity.”

“If I had to write that song again, I probably would make an edit on it.

DJ and producer Benga returned last night with his new single Psychosis.

His haunting new jam was named as Annie Mac's Hottest Record in the world right now - and you can listen above.

The track goes; "Voices in my head / She's cheating / Paranoia / Psychosis"

It was written after the artist returned from hospital where he was actually being treated for psychosis.

"I feel like it's my only real way to recover. It's almost like meditating when I sit down and write music" he revealed.

The comedian has reached out to his old pal from the back seat of a chauffeured car.

Bradley, who enjoyed a public love-in with the grime star since bumping into him on the red carpet at last year's Brits, external, has posted a new video of him rapping along to Stormzy's 2015 release Shut Up.

The accompanying message reads: "Come on Stormzy old love !!!

"You don't ring, you don't write, where's my collab??"

There's a few swear words coming out the car stereo speakers, but if you don't mind that you can check it out on Brad's Instagram page.

Irish rockers Horslips have hit out after one of their best-known songs was used at a so-called "Irexit" event in Dublin at the weekend.

Dearg Doom was played at a conference organised by a group calling for Ireland to leave the EU.

On their Facebook page, the band called them "five hundred damp, self-regarding eejits" and compared Nigel Farage - who spoke at the conference - to Crazy Frog.

They shared a few other choice - none to polite - sentiments too, which you can read here, external.

Horslips said they "stood for a hopeful, outward looking, inclusive vision of Ireland", adding that they would be seeking legal advice regarding possible copyright infringement.

But conference organiser, Hermann Kelly, from Londonderry, said the band should be "thankful" their music was played as "few other people listen to it now".

He said the Horslips' political views were "as out of touch as their 1970's flop hairstyles".

Horslips, regarded as the founding fathers of Celtic rock, formed in 1970 in Dublin and "retired" a decade later. They have since reformed for a number of gigs.

As brought to you earlier in the week, the Spice Girls are reuniting.

    Ditto the Backstreet Boys.

That's two of the nineties biggest pop groups both currently working on future ideas/music (looking to fill their coffers again). It's a match made in '90s heaven; the stuff of Christmas compilation dreams.

Where's Simon Cowell when you need him?

Picture this: The Backstreet Men meet the Spice Women - probably in a wine bar, with canapes - and release some mellow easy-listening muzak (with a bar stool for everyone).

AJ McLean is on it. He's booking the studio - and the creche.

"Who wants to see this dream, and long mentioned rumor become a reality," he wrote on Instagram this week.

"Would you come? I know it’s super late and I should be asleep which I’m finally about to be but after I saw the post earlier today from@emmaleebunton, external page my eyes lit up my heart got excited and the wheels in my crazy head started spinning.

  8. Timberlake's Super Bowl gig branded 'TV turn-off'published at 14:08 GMT 7 February 2018

Justin Timberlake, at the Super Bowl halftime show, 2018Image source, Getty Images

Poor Justin Timberlake - he must be crying a river into his corn field.

Pundits are labelling his Super Bowl gig a "TV turn-off", with viewing figures down to 106.6 million for his 13-minute set - though here at MNL, we're not sure we would brand 106 million viewers a "turn-off".

Then again, there is a bit of sport to watch as well.

The Man of the Woods failed to match Katy Perry's shark-infested Super Bowl, with a total TV audience of 120.7 million - and viewing figures were also 9% down on last year's Lady Gaga gig.

BBC Music reporter Mark Savage stayed up all night to watch JT's performance in Minneapolis and so he's qualified to question the backlash.

While the critics seem to have their knives out for flannel man, it doesn't seem to be affecting his ticket sales. Over 450,000 tickets have already sold in North America, with second shows confirmed in 10 cities - and a string of European and UK dates announced yesterday.

Plus, streams of his music jumped dramatically following the Super Bowl - and even his 2004 nipplegate co-star Janet Jackson appeared to benefit from Timberlake's return to the Super Bowl stage, with a reported 150% surge in Spotify streams for Jackson after Monday's performance.

Though whether it was the sort of exposure she was looking for remains to be seen...

Will Smith has recreated the video for his son Jaden's single Icon, complete with dodgy haircut and grill - slipping off his slippers to moonwalk in his white socks.

It takes dad-dancing to a whole new level. Pretty nifty for a man marking his half century this year. He may not be fresh, but he's still funny.

More festival news now (scroll down for Biggest Weekend and Y Not?).

Grace Jones, First Aid Kit and Chaka Khan also take prominent slots on the main stage; while rising R&B star Jorja Smith headlines the festival's Big Top.

Organiser Rob Da Bank told the BBC that 60 per cent of Bestival's audience is female, "which is kind of unusual... but it's great we can reflect that in the line-up."

"We counted it up two weeks ago and almost a quarter of our acts are female - which I know is nowhere near the 50 [per cent] it should be, but it's more than a lot of other festivals."

  12. The Sherlocks give themselves top(ish) billing at Y Not? Festivalpublished at 12:31 GMT 7 February 2018

    The SherlocksImage source, The Sherlocks/Facebook

You don't need a deerstalker hat or a pipe to detect there has been a bit of sneaky photoshopping on the part of The Sherlocks and the recently released line-up poster for the Y Not? Festival.

The indie band have been called out for moving themselves up in the billing at the Derbyshire event in July, which will be headlined by The Libertines, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Jamiroquai.

Fans were quick to spot the difference between the official poster and the one appearing on their social media accounts.

Unfortunately, we can't let you see for yourselves as their version has now been deleted from their Twitter and Facebook accounts. But, in essence, they bumped themselves up to the third line and The Amazons down to the fourth row.

Apparently we need to talk about Alex Turner's beard.

Singer Lana Del Rey broke down in tears at a concert on Monday, days after police arrested a stalker who allegedly wanted to kidnap her.

The 32-year-old star admitted to feeling "a little more emotional than I thought" as she opened the concert in Atlanta.

"I was feeling totally fine and then I just got a little bit nervous right when I got on stage," she told fans, wiping away the tears.

But she insisted she was "super happy" to be there, adding "if I'm a little bit feathery, just bear with me".

Police said Michael Hunt, 43, faces charges of aggravated stalking with a credible threat, and attempted kidnapping with a weapon.

He was arrested on Friday evening carrying a knife near the Amway Center in Orlando, where Del Ray had been due to perform.

"When he was taken into custody, Hunt was in possession of tickets to the Lana Del Rey performance and a knife," a police statement said.

He was reported to have made "cryptic and threatening" posts on social media.

Mr Hunt is being held in custody at Orange County Jail.

Another week, another old geezer who can't face travelling beyond the corner shop and his chiropodist.

First Elton John, then Paul Simon, now 69-year-old Ozzy Osbourne has announced he will be going on tour for one final time, before giving his bunions a well-deserved rest.

So far, Download on 10 June is Ozzy's only UK date.

Morning all and welcome back to Music News LIVE.

With January thankfully out the way, all thoughts are turning to summer festival plans and we'll have a suggestion or five for you today.

    Isn't that right, Craig?

Elsewhere Ozzy Osbourne talks about his final tour and non-retirement plans, and there's an epic new Black Panther video from Kendrick Lamar and SZA.

Katy Perry considers giving one of her hits a re-working to account for gender fluidity and Will Smith recreates his son's Icon video.

Oh daaaaad. Did you have to?

We'll also have a Hottest Record for you, and there's another important referendum as to whether or not Alex Turner should keep his beard for the Arctic Monkeys comeback.

    No, really.

Plus we'll look ahead to tonight's UK Eurovision hopefuls, where once again, we the people decide.

    Use your vote wisely.
