  2. Shawn Mendes reveals the story behind his new singlepublished at 18:55 BST 3 June 2016

To celebrate the release of new single Treat You Better today, Shawn Mendes phoned Scott Mills from the "middle of the woods" in upstate New York for a quick chat.

Shaun's staying at a studio complex to finish his next album and told Scott he'd been roughing it with only one shower, and even had to make his own eggs.

"I have three or four writers I work with and we all come up here for like a week or two. There's like no distractions, you can't do anything. You go a little mad though, this is like my tenth day up here, so I'm going a little crazy. I haven't seen a female in about ten days so it's getting a little weird."

He revealed the follow-up to Stitches and I Know What You Did Last Summer was inspired by no one in particular - joking it was about treating "just girls in general" better.

We get the feeling he likes the ladies..? Listen to that chat below:

  4. Music venues urged not to discriminate against disabled fanspublished at 18:45 BST 3 June 2016

The Equality And Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has called on music venues not to discriminate against disabled music fans.

A new report found 88% of disabled fans said they felt discriminated against when trying to buy gig tickets, while 83% were put off from trying to buy tickets at all because they felt the current method of buying tickets was inaccessible.

The commission has apparently threatened legal action if methods of buying tickets don’t improve for disabled people.

A spokesman for the Music Venues Trust, which represents smaller venues told the BBC: "It is a very serious issue, in terms of information online, we're working closely to bring it up to standard and in terms of the accessibility of venues."

The EHRC wants promoters to offer free tickets to disabled fans’ personal assistants but the Music Venues Trust said: "Yes, we do think it's unacceptable if a disabled person is unable to access venues but the venues that we represent are small and being able to issue free tickets to assistants is not economically viable.

"It's not impossible but will require artists to accept that it's important and for that to be reflected in their fees."

    Quote Message

I haven’t heard those songs yet. I might actually have to help his managerial company to find them. I have an idea where he might have recorded them, but there is also a lot of unreleased material from many albums. I think it’s logical that over the next few years, you’re going to hear a lot of stuff that you haven’t heard before.
