    BBC 6 Music

    Media caption,

So Kasabian are STILL confirmed to headline (scroll down).

But the rumours have been circling online (and possibly among your gang) that California desert rockers Queens of the Stone Age are to play a sneaky set at Reading/Leeds festivals this weekend too.

Singer Josh Homme told 6 Music's Lauren Laverne this afternoon that he doesn't even know where Reading is, and asks why would he do a secret gig?

He says the band, whose new album Villains is out tomorrow, are apparently already playing 'Gary's seventh birthday party' this weekend instead.

We're not sure we believe him. Decide for yourself above.

So far they're unconfirmed on the line-up. Speaking of line-ups, was this the greatest ever Reading one?..

"There hasn’t been anybody good enough. If there was a band like the Strokes, or Interpol, people would talk.

"If there were some kids out there right now playing [Interpol song] Obstacle 1 tonight, I would hear about it, you would hear about it.

    "But there isn’t."

Tell us what you really think Brand mate.

Anyway, his band have also shared some new music and a video, which we presume he does feel is good enough.

This is all very cryptic from the people over at BBC Introducing.

One such band is Kentish punk duo Slaves, who came through the ranks at BBC Kent.

Now, five years on from the release of debut EP Sugar Coated Bitter Truth, Isaac and Laurie are re-living their memories of misbehaving in Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells, as well playing a special gig at the Wells Forum in a new BBC short film.

    Declan McKenna

So we hope you got the results that you wanted/needed.

Two years ago rock star Declan McKenna was opening his results, after having submitted the track Brazil as part of his music coursework.

Unusually for Year 11 coursework, it ended up being played on Radio 1. Not bad.

Speaking to Newsbeat, the 18-year-old singer joked: "It got 98%. What was 2% wrong?"

He added: "But I never got it remarked in case they realised it was too generic.

    Quote Message

It was an intense time but I got through it and did alright."

Declan started his A-levels but dropped out to pursue a career in music.

He says his career, thus far, shows "there's no set path" after getting your results.

Unless you get you Radio 1 play of course. Then it's the path straight to the top friends.
