Following our post earlier about Jack Black's Twitter death hack (scroll down for a closer look), it's now come to light that Tame Impala, Bon Iver and Keith Richards' tweets were also hacked over the weekend.

On Sunday, Aussie rock band Tame Impala's feed was hijacked with hackers tweeting a host of confusing messages encouraging readers to follow individual social media accounts, before tweeting a bomb threat to an airline.

The tweets have since been deleted.

Hackers renamed Bon Iver's Twitter handle from @boniver to @ihavelegcancer.

Among the tweets were racial slurs towards rapper, Stormzy, and a callous message about Muhammad Ali - all of which have also been deleted.

  3. Three Lions 'killed football anthems'published at 15:01 BST 6 June 2016

    Baddiel and Skinner

David Baddiel says the England squad have no official song for Euro 2016 because his track, Three Lions, "killed off the football anthem".

"There were a few attempts after 1996 but no-one managed it." he told the BBC. "And that's because it is the best football anthem of all time.

"I know I shouldn't say that, but I'm pretty sure it is. It has been voted that several times."

Baddiel, along with Frank Skinner and the Lightning Seeds, scored a number one hit with Three Lions in the run-up to Euro 1996.

The song, with its signature "30 years of hurt" lyric, sold more than 1.5 million copies.

This morning, the BBC unveiled the new song which will accompany coverage of this summer's Euro 2016 football competition.

Here is Izzy Bizu and the BBC Concert Orchestra...

Izzy praised the orchestra for their efforts:

"Oh my God, aren't they just amazing? They are so professional, they go in, they take two hours to get an Edith Piaf song completely right.

"The sound of the strings when you hear it live is so so beautiful – I literally had hairs going up on my arms.

"I think my brother will be happy, he's a really big football fan."

Chris Martin was on fine ringmaster form as Coldplay opened their UK tour at the weekend in the city where their music career began 18 years ago.

He dashed up and down the huge runway, imploring the crowd to "jump" to each of their upbeat numbers, and to give things a local twist, he name-dropped Noel Gallagher, even weaving a few lines of Oasis' Live Forever into the band's set.

The 23 song set contained tracks from all of the band's albums, including their early Blue Room EP; plenty of word perfect crowd singalongs, particularly for older tracks such as Fix You and The Scientist; and even a short stint as frontman for "guitar hero" Jonny Buckland, who, as Martin put it, laid it "all on the line" to sing Don't Panic during an acoustic set on the smallest of three stages the band used.

The Guardian's four star review, external said the show had "moments which only a stadium rock band at the top of their game can provide" and picked up on the visual splendour of the gig, which had "enough fireworks to blow up the Houses of Parliament, flashing LED wristbands (given to each audience member)... and showers of confetti in the shape of little birds".

The Telegraph were equally impressed, external by the colourful offering, saying the show "was like an explosion in a Dulux factory" and that Martin showed "Tigger-like enthusiasm and clear joy".

It was the singer's "jovial mood" that caught the eye of the Daily Mail, external too - that and his "tie-dye patches and funky trainers which helped him put on a lively performance".

As those fireworks lit up the sky, Martin grinned a thank you for "the best two nights we've had in Manchester". On this form, they'll be one of the highlights of Glastonbury.
