    *not The Fugees.

Wyclef Jean, external has reunited with his fictional Carnival Band (basically, Wyclef himself in several different guises) in the new video for catchy new summer jam What Happened to Love.

The video, which you can watch above, opens with Wyclef's former manager telling him to "put the band back together."

"Not the Fugees, not yet. The Fugees will come," he adds.

Maybe this is a subtle hint for future plans?...

If you've been reading today you'll have seen we've talked statues, rock stars, politics and terror with many of the music stars on show at Green Man festival.

Now he's gone, exactly who is your favourite 'green man'?

Watch below to see what many of the acts said. Well worth watching this one to the end to see how Sleaford Mod Jason interpreted our rather open-ended question...

This time it's a grudge basketball match featuring the Sheep against the Tigers (a reference from the song's lyrics).

The track was seen as something of a Taylor Swift diss, but Katy has since extended an olive branch to her fellow singer.

At least they do in new detective video for their track of the same name taken from their critically-lauded debut album Love In the 4th Dimension.

The London band played their first gig on UK soil since becoming Mercury Nominated, at Green Man on Friday night, after Hinds (scroll down for more from those chicas).

    Actually make that 'M.N'd.'

The band endeared themselves to the locals by busting out a mid-set cover of Welsh gal Bonnie Tyler's classic power ballad. You know the one I mean; think similarly moon-themed.

Singer Juliette Jackson said "everything is feeling a bit surreal at the moment", after they landed back in the country the morning of the gig following their "really fun" first co-headline tour of the States, alongside Marika Hackman.

Crossing the Atlantic in a hurry to smash their Green Man set seems to have really got Juliette in a bit of tizz.

She said: "This morning, this is how discombobulated I was, I got up and was all ready and had a cup of tea and packed my suitcase and got ready to go...before I realised I was only wearing my underwear!"

The Foo Fighters managed to Rickroll , externalan entire festival audience at the weekend by bringing British singer Rick Astley on stage.

For those who can't remember, 'Rickrolling' became an internet meme whereby people would send links to each other which, upon being clicked, would take the user to Rick's video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

Dave and co went one further by taking Rick onstage at the Summer Sonic festival in Tokyo, Japan.

“We just learned this today. Ladies and gentleman, would you please welcome our new best friend, Rick Astley,”

Rick happened to be the festival lineup and joined the Foos in a mashup of Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit and his famous track.

Go to Variety for more, external, sadly we can't host the video here as, perhaps carried away by the moment, Rick does a particularly sweary swear.

Nottingham post-punk electro double act Sleaford Mods pulled a large crowd out of the rain and into the Far Out Stage tent at the final night of Green Man.

The band were well represented at the event as their new film Bunch of Kunst was being shown and frontman Jason Williamson also appeared - following Billy Bragg - in conversation, before their main show.

Luckily, he had time for a chat and told us that despite their success on the festival circuit with incendiary politically-charged tracks like B.H.S, he and bandmate Andrew Fearn really don't consider themselves to be a rock stars...or, would you believe, intend to shock people.

"I think the idea of the rock star died with the last century.

"Alright fair enough, you've got your pop bands who live that life - the biggies. You know what i mean, who appeal to a different market.

    Quote Message

But I think it's pretty much spent that idea of being elegantly wasted!"

He added: "It's certainly a device that belonged more to the last century than this one."

Before his big gig, Jason also paid tribute to the late Bruce Forsyth, calling him "one of the good guys", said he had "a lot of respect" for Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn but was less keen on idea of a 'Tory Glastonbury'.

That's after Conservative MP George Freeman announced his intention to host a Conservative ideas festival, following Mr Corbyn's appearance on the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm this summer.

Last month, Freeman Tweeted: "Why is it the left who have all the fun in politics?"

Jason doesn't agree: "We're not having any fun are we? It's not so much the left, but people aren't having fun.

"Who's having fun? The people at a festival - but that's only for three days.

"It's scoffing at something menial and ignoring the realities.

"I think it's a positive thing that Jeremy Corbyn appeared at Glastonbury...but it hasn't really changed anything."

Sleaford Mods are currently "thinking about ideas and trying things" for the follow-up to this year's English Tapas but it's still early days and you'll have to continue to digest that musical meal for a while yet until your next one is fully cooked.

  14. The Shins back bid to replace Confederate monument with Missy Elliottpublished at 11:18 BST 21 August 2017

    Paul Glynn
    Music News LIVE reporter

The Shins' James MercerImage source, Getty Images

The Shins had a lot of fun at Green Man.

The Albuquerque (think Breaking Bad) band described the Welsh festival as "super-awesome" and were chuffed just to "get to see PJ Harvey for free."

They performed ahead of Polly on the Mountain Stage last night and were delighted to discover that a petition in their native USA to replace a Confederate monument with statue of hip hop star Missy Elliott, external had been signed by thousands.

It's following violent clashes between white supremacists and protesters in Charlottesville, Virginia after the announcement of the planned removal of a statue of Confederate general Robert E. Lee.

In a letter to the mayor, Virginia resident Nathan Coflin proposed that it should instead be replaced by one of the Virginia-born rapper.

He said: “Getting this statue put up will be a lot of work and you may ask yourself is it worth it?

“I say yes and ask you to join me in letting us work it. Together we can put white supremacy down, flip it and reverse it.

“Missy is all of us. Missy is everything the Confederacy was not.”

    Missy ElliotImage source, Getty Images

Now Shins singer James Mercer has said he would happily sign the petition, which already has over 3,000 names on it.

    "That's amazing!

"We're terrible fans of hers, we love her."

Bassist Yuuki Matthews added: "Whoever is doing that, make it happen!

"She should definitely have a statue."

The now Portland-based band played tracks from new album Heartworms, as well as cult indie hits like New Slang and a cracking cover of Tom Petty's American Girl.

The American men were less than pleased with the actions of their compatriots in Charottesville, as well as the response of their own President who apportioned blame to both sides of the dispute.

James added: "I was shocked people would go on a parade for white power and just being proud to be white.

"That shocked me. I didn't even know that was a thing. It's disgusting."

Yuuki chipped in: "It's pretty devastating to be honest and for the person who's in charge of your entire country supporting that..."

Johnny Cash's family last week also released a statement distancing themselves from the far-right protester seen wearing one of his T-shirts and The Shins are taking a similar stance.

"Wouldn't it suck if you saw one of those in a Shins shirt?," said James.

    "We don't need them!"

  15. Hinds: We will return to Las Ramblas soonpublished at 10:52 BST 21 August 2017

    Paul Glynn
    Music News LIVE reporter

    HindsImage source, Paul Bevan

More from Green Man festival now where Spanish garage rockers Hinds brought ramshackle charm and catchy pop melodies to the Far Out Stage on Friday night.

The four girls from Madrid say they will have no qualms about returning to the Las Ramblas; one of the scenes of last week's terror attacks in Barcelona in their native Spain.

The hunt for the driver who killed 13 people in the Catalan city has been extended across Europe, officials say.

But Hinds, whose friend was caught up in the attack, are refusing to live in fear.

Singer Carlotta Cosials (above) said: "We were driving in the van and it came through our Whatsapp, with our group of friends. We saw the link with the news and the first thing we did was check out friends in Barcelona were ok.

"Actually one of our friends, she didn't get hurt, but she got locked in the one of the markets.

    Quote Message

The whole street got shut down and nobody could move until the police did their job. She was scared, but she's ok.

People gather in Barcelona to mourn the deadImage source, Getty Images

"We've been in Barcelona so many times, we love it. We have good friends in Barcelona and they love Madrid too and we'll continue to share holidays."

Fellow frontwoman Ana Garcia Perrote added:

    Quote Message

We're definitely going to go back to the Ramblas in less than a year. For sure, I mean you can't live scared.

"It was the same with Gay Pride. World Gay Pride this year was in Madrid and you have that thought 'this is the spot for everyone', because the media makes you feel scared. But there's no way you can avoid that and stay home.

"Our manager is also a booker of big festivals in Spain and he was saying they've changed all the security - even though this hasn't happened in a Spanish musical festival - and made the entrances so people can't drive through and added metal detectors."

Carlotta concluded: "This kind of security will be there forever from now on at music festivals and I think that's actually good."

The band are currently in the process of re-mixing their forthcoming second album; the follow-up to 2016's Leave Me Alone, and did play one new track for the Green Man crowd.

The new record was due to be ready in May, but "life is life", as Carlotta puts it, so you'll have to wait a little longer yet. The singer said: "I think we have better songs now"...and who are we to disagree?

Welcome back to another edition of Music News LIVE.

It's been a big weekend of music, what with that man of the moment Stormzy wowing the crowds at V festival plus PJ Harvey and The Shins among the performers at Green Man in Wales.

Plus 80s boyband Bros played their 25 year reunion show at the O2, Kesha's album tops the US chart, the Foo Fighters rick-roll an entire Japanese festival and a One Direction member is getting his own BBC special.

Clue: it's the one who has released his own solo material.
