The Swedish country folk band we mean, not the bandages, plasters and safety pins thankfully.

The Söderberg sisters are back with yet another cool country guitar ballad dripping in beautiful harmonies that will make you long for the start of the summer.

It will be kind of a long wait in fairness.

It's a Shame is set to appear on the follow-up to 2014 album Stay Gold.

In a statement, the girls talk about moving to LA for five weeks last spring to write and how the city of angels is not all just fun in the sun.

    Quote Message

It was a tough time for the both of us. We were in this beautiful sunny place, but mostly felt sad and lonely.

"It’s A Shame is a song about the emptiness and desperation you feel after a relationship has come to an end. How you will go to great lengths just to numb the pain and feel less lonely.”

    2) Details of Noel Gallagher's 'experimental' album

One man who, like Missy, has never managed a #1 in America is Noel Gallagher (he's had plenty over here, mind).

This week the High Flying Bird announced details of his forthcoming new album Who Built The Moon?

The record, produced by DJ and composer David Holmes in Belfast will be out on 24 November.

Noel, who recently re-opened the Manchester Arena at the We Are Manchester benefit gig, explained the new record is his most experimental and 'far-out' one yet.

Noel explained the recording process of "one of the best records I've ever made" to 6 Music's Matt Everitt and how "we couldn't have done that in Oasis - there would've been bedlam."

Noel said: "I never thought I was capable of doing anything different."

    3) All about Stormzy's 'inner battle' in powerful new short film

Grime sensation Stormzy this released a moving and compelling short film to accompany his debut album Gang Signs and Prayer.

The 15-minute film, which - we should warn contains strong language and scenes of violence - was premiered on YouTube, external.

It tells the story of a young boy in south London, played by teenager Abdul Basit Ayanwusim (below) who is raised - like Stormzy - by a single parent.

He latches on to a father figure in the local community, who may not be as benevolent as he first appears. Stormzy said the film revealed the "two demons" he faced growing up, and the "inner battle" of many black youths.

    4) Radiohead's Blue Planet II theme collab with Hans Zimmer is out of this world

Earlier this month, it was announced Radiohead were teaming up with composer Hans Zimmer on the soundtrack to the BBC's forthcoming Blue Planet II.

The awe-inspiring piece called (ocean) Bloom - was finally premiered this week, featuring added David Attenborough, and you can check it below.

The band had previously recorded an orchestral version of the song Bloom, external, from their 2011 album The King Of Limbs.

Radiohead's Thom Yorke popped into 6 Music to explain how the original Blue Planet series inspired the original track.

He said: "It was me lying on the sofa trying to go to sleep after being up too late with my young son and it was just coming in and out of my subconscious."

Listen to the full interview with Thom, Jonny and Hans.

Last but definitely not least this week, we learned that...

    5) Rapper B.o.B.is raising funds to check if the Earth is flat

B.o.B whose real name is Bobby Ray Simmons Jr, has been a vocal proponent of the Flat Earth theory - the claim the Earth is, in fact, a disc (it isn't) and not spherical (it is).

"Show me the curve," he says.

"I'm starting this GoFundMe because I would like to send one, if not multiple satellites, as far into space as I can, or into orbit as I can, to find the curve," he said in a video on the page.

Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson (below) for one, was only too happy to oblige B.o.B with an explanation as to exactly where the curve is.

So decide for yourself who to belief (the scientist).

Shania Twain's long-awaited first new album in 15 years Now is out, well... now.

'Difficult' as the old rock 'n' roll cliche goes but it seems the west London grunge rockers have absolutely smashed it with ease, by all accounts.

    Too soon?

The Guardian, external describe it as an "exuberant guitar-driven genre jumble", giving it 4/5 stars. The NME, external go one better, awarding it full marks, saying "Wolf Alice's second album is bold, brave and magnificent." Drowned In Sound, external give it 10/10 too. Woof! The online music mag calls the album a "phenomenal achievement."
