A man has handed himself in to police after a van ploughed into a group of people near a Dutch music festival, killing one of them.

The 35-year-old man, who died in the early hours of Monday was a local festival volunteer, organisers said.

Three other people were critically injured in the incident, hours after the three-day Pinkpop festival ended.

Artists including Noel Gallagher, Jessie J and The Script were on the line-up.

The 34-year-old man in custody is being held on suspicion of manslaughter and attempted manslaughter.

The organisation behind the festival said in a statement posted to Facebook that it was "deeply shocked" over the incident.

The 60-year-old, who was a long-term member of the influential NYC punk band, died on Friday.

Fellow former members of the Cramps, including Miriam Linna - whom Knox replaced on drums - and guitarist Kid Congo Powers confirmed his death on social media.

No cause of death has been reported.

Born Nicholas Stephanoff, he joining singer Lux Interior and Poison Ivy in the Cramps in 1977 and remained with the band until Interior's death in 1991.

"I last saw Nicky... last weekend, in intensive care at the Cleveland Clinic. It was heartbreaking, as I had spent a few great days with him at the end of April," Linna wrote on Facebook, external.

Powers called him "Your friend and mine".

Welsh psych rockers Boy Azooga dropped by the BBC Radio 6 Music live room for a chat with Lauren Laverne.

Frontman Davey Newington talked the DJ through the many various influences on their newly-released debut album, 1,2, Kung Fu, as well as performing two tracks, Jerry and Face Behind Her Cigarette.

She could've had somebody's eye out with that thing.

BBC 6 Music

Robert Smith of The Cure stood in for Iggy Pop on 6 Music on Friday night, to mark the opening of his Meltdown festival at London's Southbank this weekend.

Every year the festival - now in its 25th year - hands over the reins to a particular artist, allowing them to select the bands on the lineup and Smith has invited the likes of the Manics and Placebo.

Previous curators of Meltdown have included David Bowie, Yoko Ono, Scott Walker, Nick Cave, Jarvis Cocker and, last year, M.I.A.

That's 43% of women under 40 says new research.

Overall, 22% of all festival goers have faced assault or harassment.

YouGov surveyed 1,188 festival goers and the most common forms were unwelcome and forceful dancing and verbal harassment.

Only 2% of festival-goers reported incidents to police.

The festivals YouGov survey, which was commissioned by the Press Association, also found only 1% of women reported sexual assault or harassment to a member of festival staff, either before or after the event, although 19% of men did report their experience to staff.

Kate told 6 Music DJs Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie about how wrestling can be empowering.

“As a woman being told to take up space is rare,” she said.

"I'm not on screen worrying about how I look, I'm worried about how my wrestling looks."

The pair performed her track Fighter and the Aretha Franklin classic, Think.

Thirteen-year-old Toni Cornell shared a recording of Nothing Compares 2 U, saying she missed the Soundgarden singer's love "every day".

He was found dead of a suicide following a concert in Detroit last year.

"You were the best father anyone could ask for," Toni Cornell wrote.

In the latest episode of Backstage Pass, the pop star is speaking candidly about her mental health battles.

"Three years ago, I wouldn't have got out the door," she says.

"The three steps between my car and the front door of the studio was literally all I went outside for."

The band had to postpone two shows in Las Vegas last week after they revealed drummer Travis Barker was suffering from blood clots in his arms.

He has now posted an update, in the form of a doctor's note, which says he can't play drums for the rest of the month.

He is apparently being treated with antibiotics and will be monitored for the next few weeks to determine whether he can return to the stage.

"My life and health are my priority right now. I’ll be back as soon as I can be," he added.

She made one of the best albums of 2017 and was, arguably, robbed of a Grammy but now SZA has assured fans that her voice is getting better.

The singer shared message on social media several weeks ago, suggesting her hectic live schedule has left her voice "permanently damaged".

Now she's shared an update saying that she has been working with an "incredible team of doctors and vocal technicians".

"I’m blessed to say my voice is not permanently damaged and I’ve been working daily to get back."

It has been rumoured for a while but now it's here - Beyonce and Jay-Z have dropped a joint album.

It's called Everything is Love and is only available to download on Jay-Z's streaming service Tidal.

Bey made the announcement on stage in London as they thanked their fans for coming to watch their global tour.

She said: "Because we love you all so much we have something special for you."

A video was then played on the screens which ended with a black slate with the message 'ALBUM OUT NOW'.

A six minute video was released alongside the album and you can find that on Bey's Instagram now, but there is a language warning.

It's very elaborate in true Bey and Jay style and was filmed inside the Louvre museum in Paris.

The pair dedicated Forever Young to the 72 people who lost their lives in the fire exactly one year ago.

During the track Jay-Z pointed to a green heart pin worn on his lapel to honour the dead.

Sunny Hill Festival will take place in the Kosovan capital of Pristina - birthplace of the New Rules star's parents.

The singer tweeted her pride over dad, Dukagjin, following his "dream" and confirmed that she will perform at the August event.

"He had an idea to create a festival... with lots of international and home acts to really help put Kosovo on the map culturally.

"See you there!"

Mates' rates or free for family? That's the question...

As well as being father to one of the biggest pop stars on the planet right now, Dukagjin himself is a singing star back home.

The rapper's performance at Tennessee festival Bonnaroo a week ago caused a stir when fans complained over sudden gunshot-like sound effects being used after his track, Kill You.

Some fans online said they were startled and others pointed out that it was possibly an insensitive move given the number of fatal shootings in the US this year alone.

His manager had insisted that it was not an intentional gunshot sound effect.

Now during his performance at Firefly Music Festival, an unrepentant Em posted the below message on the big screen.

Many fans online have now supported the rapper for his stance calling him "ruthless" and "an icon".

Others, however, were less impressed.
