  3. G N' R abandon show after Axl Rose falls 'severely ill'published at 14:54 GMT 26 November 2018

Guns N' RosesImage source, Getty Images

The US rockers had to abandon their Dubai gig after their frontman became "severely ill" with a stomach upset.

Rose came on stage, prior to the post-Abu Dhabi Grand Prix concert, to alert fans that he'd been vomiting backstage but that the show must go on.

The 56-year-old was good to his word and managed to perform for two hours before the set was cut short.

Thankfully duelling guitar solos from Slash and Richard Fortus - covering Pink Floyd - will have given Axl a chance to grab a glass of water, at least.

  6. Michael Buble's not fussed about his UK number one albumpublished at 14:05 GMT 26 November 2018

    Michael BubleImage source, Getty Images

Buble topped the UK album charts this weekend, with his fourth album, Love.

But after taking a two year break to support his eldest son, five-year-old Noah, who was diagnosed with liver cancer, he says he couldn't care less about music sales.

Noah is now thankfully on the mend.

“I don’t give a [poop] if things sell one or 10 million, I don’t care where I play, if it is at a club or a theatre or a stadium," he told DJ Larry Flick on New York’s SiriusXM.

    Quote Message

My kids are good, that’s all I care about. Making music is this bonus, the bonus of the happiness of life.

“I don’t read anything, don’t have social media any more and my poor manager cannot tell me what the chart positions are because he knows I will cut the call."

Even so, Buble shut down rumours last month that he was planning to retire, saying that "I'll keep going until I die."

The Radiohead frontman kicked off his solo tour on Friday in Philadelphia, USA, and the show featured a live debut of the Suspiria track - which you can watch above.

It's the only song that Thom performed off the score to the Luca Guadagnino horror remake, despite releasing an album of its 25 original compositions last month.

Maybe there's a law against the amount of horror you're allowed to inject into your set? Maybe not.

If you're heading to another of the gigs then Thom mainly played his solo tracks as well as songs from his side-project supergroup, Atoms for Peace.

"I'll never get used to that," he told the BBC's Paul Sheehan, "people that I admire - I would feel sad at getting used to that.

"Just them mentioning us and having us on their radar is crazy and it makes us feel great."

David Bowie's son, Duncan Jones, has led the tributes to filmmaker Nicolas Roeg, who has died, aged 90.

He directed Bowie in his first ever lead feature role - in 1976's The Man Who Fell to Earth. The film would later provide the inspiration for the late singer's own theatre production, Lazarus.

Jones, pictured above as a kid alongside his dad and the director, wrote: "Just heard another great storyteller, the inimitable Nicolas Roeg left us today.

"What an incredible body of work he’s left us with! All my love to his family."

He added: "Thank you for making so many brave choices, & giving this strange little lad in pajamas an ongoing love of filmmaking."

Roeg made several more films starring musicians - Performance with Mick Jagger, and Bad Timing with Art Garfunkel - as well as many other movies, including the 1973 psychological thriller Don't Look Now.
