Her inspiration from her Indian background and childhood memories of reading her grandmother’s famous Indian poetry and performing in front of music icons like the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Tasha’s single, ‘Haan Da Munda’ (a suitable boy) was released on 2011 and dropped straight into no.1 on the world iTunes charts. Tasha had achieved a level of success with her unique fusion of western and eastern music. She has toured globally, appeared in major festivals, on television and radio, at mainstream events and has even performed live at Maida Vale sessions for the BBC.
