Tom O, Here We Go

With a Brits Critics’ Choice award, a support slot for The Stones at Hyde Park and a sold-out debut UK tour under his belt, 2013 has been quite a year for 22 year-old singer songwriter Tom Odell.

The son of a pilot and a primary school teacher, he was raised on his parents’ Elton John records and studied classical piano up to Grade 7. At 18, he abandoned plans to attend York University to focus on his music.

The risk paid off when Lily Allen saw him play in 2011 and promptly signed him to her label saying Tom’s energy onstage reminded her of David Bowie. He made an appearance at Burberry’s London Fashion Week Show this year performing his debut single, ‘Hold Me’.

This is Tom’s first appearance at T.
