Cardiff crew Astroid Boys are a force to be reckoned with. Led by two MCs Benji and Traxx, the collective combine hip hop, rock, metal, dubstep and relentless energy to provide insightful tales of life in their hometown.
Their recent track Minging was played across the BBC Introducing family including Radio 1 airings on Huw Stephens and Jen Long and Ally McCrae's Sunday night show. This followed their debut single BADA$$ which surfaced in 2012 through their own independent label.
With a DJ, producer, guitarist and drummer in tow, Astroid Boys really come to life on stage and the group have already supported Rusko, Mikill Pane, Professor Green and High Contrast. They are as comfortable within the hip hop circles as they are with hardcore acts, also sharing stages with Trash Talk and Rotting Out and causing a stir at June's Download Festival.
