  13. Rod Stewartpublished at 20:21

Rod Stewart is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold over 100 million records worldwide. He’s released an incredible 62 singles, six of which took the coveted spot at the top of the UK charts. Unusually, his solo career ran successfully in parallel with the rock group Faces. In more recent years, the singer has released records exploring the Great American Songbook, although in 2013 he released Time, his first album of self-penned material for over 15 years.

And tonight, we'll be hearing some of that new material in all it's glory - let us know what you think using the hashtag #R2HydePark. Don't forget, you can watch it all live right here on this website - just scroll up and click on the live coverage tab.

  16. Giorgio Moroderpublished at 19:47

For forty years, DJ and super producer Giorgio Moroder has influenced the direction of dance music, filling dance floors with his hedonistic disco beats, whilst composing soundtracks for sporting tournaments such as the Los Angeles and Seoul Olympics and the 1990 Football World Cup, and winning three Academy Awards for his compositions for cinema. Despite being in his mid seventies, Giorgio released his seventeenth album, featuring collaborations with Sia and Britney Spears, in June.

Despite being one of the busiest septuagenarians in the world, Mr Moroder is here tonight to perform a DJ set that'll get you whipped into a frenzy for Rod Stewart's headline set, whether you're in Hyde Park, or watching our live coverage at home.(Simply click on the live coverage tab above to get started.)

It’s so funny to read the papers now, it’s almost like I invented music. All these people calling me ‘godfather’ and ‘grandaddy’. I spoke to several guys, like David Guetta, Aviici, Tiësto, they all love me, and a lot of those songs they play have the I Feel Love feel and bassline. You know, I think now, slowly, I must have done something interesting, right?
