  9. Mary and Paul's massive decisionpublished at 20:54

Mary and Paul deliberate as the hordes of friends and family tuck into the Showstoppers outside.

"Is it fair to say we've never experienced such incredible-tasting bakes?" Sue questions?

Mel and Sue are ejected from the tent so the deliberations can commence!

  10. "Flavours, textures, the look. Spot on"published at 20:53

With a whopping five tiers of cake, Ian's really outdone himself in his final Showstopper achieving his humongous construction within the time limit.

"Sensibly you've gone simple, so we're expecting something magnificent inside," Mary says as she tucks in.

"That's one of the best carrot cakes I've ever had," Paul says, leaning back in pleasure.

  11. "It is breathtaking"published at 20:51

Tamal's Eastern-inspired Western bake looks almost too good to taste - and yet, due to his signature flavour combinations, it would clearly be a waste not to...

Mary can't quite conceive how the complex construction has come together. Paul tucks in and admires the even distribution of fruit.

"I was expecting to make rude remarks about it being a pudding, but I think you've done exceedingly well... It's totally different!" Mary exclaims.

Inspired by her own wedding, Nadiya's make lemon drizzle cake look more delicious than ever with her final Showstopper.

The judges straightaway heap praise onto the decoration of Nadiya's Showstopper. Paul and Mary note the even texture of the bakes, but take their time with the chewing...

"The lemon comes through beautifully with every layer," Mary says. Paul starts to shake his head; "Oh Nadiya... That's stunning."

  15. Half an hour to go!published at 20:45

There's just half an hour to go for the Showstopper, and if we can barely contain ourselves, how on earth are the bakers coping!?

Let us know your strategies for keeping cool - or otherwise - using the hashtag #GBBO.

  16. Paul and Nadiya: the face-off!published at 20:44

"Happy Nadiya?" Paul whispers at Nadiya's side. (The rotter.)

"Yeah," Nadiya whispers back, casually continuing to ice her cakes before lurching back with a response; "happy Paul?"

The Male Judge momentarily loses his steely composure.

We make that Nadiya 1, Paul 0.

  17. The weather comes through for Tamalpublished at 20:43

Outside, the eliminated Series 6 bakers, friends and family gather to deliberate who'll come out on top in the Final. And it seems the sun is pleased to see them too, as the torrential downpour of the morning eases off, much to the delight of Tamal, who says he wants dry conditions for his spun sugar work to shine.

Will the sun be enough to spur him to victory?

  19. "I knew I'd get the fear"published at 20:41

Ian might look cool and composed, but he assures us he's got 'the fear', (although it's been relived slightly by the observation that Tamal is also mid-bake).

Meanwhile, Nadiya's got started on her fondant, melting massive marshmallows in the microwave.
