Meet the Panel

During the series your questions were answered by one of our panel of experts, headed by Bank of Mum & Dad's Lawrence Gold.

Lawrence GoldLawrence Gold
Lawrence is our straight talking advisor from the first series of Bank of Mum & Dad, who is back in series two hoping to get a new set of people back on track financially. He has been in the finance industry since graduating from the University of Kent in 1988 with a joint honours degree and was listed in the Who’s Who of Britain’s Best Financial Advisors 2003.


Michael BrillMichael Brill
Michael has been providing financial advice to personal and corporate clients since 1978. In June 2004 he was voted Mortgage IFA of the Year and Non-Conforming mortgage IFA of the year by "Financial Adviser" magazine. Michael is currently a Director of Baronworth (Investment Services) Ltd.


Ronnie DakinRonnie Dakin
Ronnie is a 24 year old mathematics graduate who works as a Team Leader for National Debtline. He has gained an in depth experience of providing technical money advice to clients on the National Debtline helpline and by email / letter correspondence. As part of his role Ronnie has researched and produced training courses on technical money advice subjects to be delivered to other advisers, he's is also a full member of the Money Advice Association.


Lisa ColcloughLisa Colclough
Lisa works for Citizens Advice as National Money Advice Policy and Development Officer. Key responsibilities of this role include helping formulating Citizens Advice money advice policies and developing the service on a national basis. Lisa has worked in the area of social welfare law for 13 years and has practiced in Housing and welfare benefits as well as Money Advice. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and has worked for a solicitors firm, Shelter and National Debtline.
