But we also have some people's-history tapes in stock, from series that go back over the last ten years.

"The Five Towns of Arnold Bennett"
The acclaimed 'Five Towns of Arnold Bennett' series (in three-CD set), still sells well since its first airing in 1999.

It was an independent production, narrated by the famous actor Freddie Jones (who was born in Stoke), and tells of a century of changes to the Five Towns of the Potteries, with the emphasis very much on the life and times of the famous author himself.
It is priced at £15.99 for the set, including postage in Britain and packing; cheques payable to TERRY WALSH.
Please phone 01782 208080 or email me with any more queries especially about overseas postage.

"The Century Speaks"
This was a series first broadcast on BBC Radio Stoke in 2000, and produced by one of our foremost journalists Alan Ingram.
In it you hear the evocative memories, and ups and downs, of the generations of people in North Staffordshire and South Cheshire who lived through and participated in the major events of the 20th century.
Double cassette priced at only £5, payment by cheque - payable to BBC.
Please phone 01782 208080 or email me with any more queries especially about overseas postage.
