Anna was accompanied into the world by her twin sister Vanessa at the Barratt Maternity hospital. At an early age it was obvious that the sporting talents of her mother (a Wimbledon tennis player) were sadly lacking, so she turned instead to the world of music, playing the piano, clarinet and the violin in Northamptonshire's many ensembles. She can't resist the tempation to break into song while broadcasting, but more formally Anna sings in a Northampton-based eight part choir. Outside work, Anna's great love is ruby. Once a Saints stalwart, she's assumed the role of match reporter for her home club in Brackley, which esentially involves getting very wet on the touchline watching her friends play in the mud!
