| | Herdle was responsible for co-ordinating Leicester's annual Caribbean Carnival for many years - an event which attracts thousands of people from all over the country, and is the largest of its kind after London's celebrated Notting Hil Carnival. Herdle also leads the team that produces BBC Radio Leicester's weekly sequence that brings together the latest news, features and comment for the local African-Caribbean community. Born: 03 March
