Community Service Volunteers is a national charity working with the BBC to bring you social action broadcasting.
At BBC Leicester, our own Lisa Reeves and her dedicated team of volunteers work alongside Martin Ballard, Tony Wadsworth, Ben Jackson and all your favourite presenters to bring you information about volunteering, lifelong learning, health and the environment. 2005 is the Year of the Volunteer - providing the perfect platform for local charities and groups to promote their voluntary opportunities, whilst giving you all the information to get involved.
Action Desk also supports BBC campaigns and projects like 'People's War' and works closely with the BBC Leicester Open Centre. Maybe you want to offer your skills and talent to make a real difference in your community or discover the 'new you' that has been lurking there all along.
