The Magic Numbers take to the stage bang on time to gleefully announce that they are making history as the first band to play the beautifully refurbished Roundhouse. The two sets of siblings, smartly dressed in black suits and gowns, entertain the crowd by performing tracks from their forthcoming album Those The Brokes, as well as favourites from their superb debut. Paul Weller looks on approvingly from the wings, sips from a glass of red wine and poses for fans and their camera phones.
A string septet are invited on stage, in contrasting white costumes, to bring an elegant gloss on proceedings. Together they perform the set's highlight, 'Most Of The Time' before the band's grand slam finish of 'Love Me Like You' and 'Mornings 11'.
