Donna joined on 24 April 2006 and left on 11 May 2007.
Donna had extremely good instincts about people. She could spot a blagger at a hundred paces and would try to warn the medical staff. Likewise, she knew when someone was seriously ill but hiding it.
Donna took the job at The Mill after her son, Taran, started school. She had a hard time persuading her husband to let her go back to work but managed to convince him.
When she discovered that her son was being bullied and that his mother was a patient at the Mill, things quickly got out of hand. Donna happened upon the mother's notes and found herself reading them.
The file showed that the boy's mother was an alcoholic and was suspected of abusing her son. Donna gave the notes to his father hoping he would use them as evidence in his battle for custody. But Julia found out what had happened and was forced to sack Donna for breaking patient confidentiality.
