Dear Cheryl, How refreshing to hear your views.Children.old and young need to have a sense of value and to know that they are good at something.Everyone is good at something;as teachers we have a need to find out what that is. I think it is about time I made a public apology to anyone who ever attempted to teach me!I apologise for every lesson I ever disrupted, test I flunked and homework copied.You must have all done something right though, as I have enjoyed every minute of my teaching career to date. Thank you for your tolerance and giving up your time to keep me in the much needed detentions after school!
