You can forget Bono and his showbiz pals, for the (almost) definitive version of 'Do They Know It's Christmas', you don't have to look any further than BBC Radio Derby.

Shane O'Connor is the mastermind - or should that be misguided fool? - behind a new version of the famous Christmas song - sung by presenters and news staff at the station.

The song was painstakingly put together following on-air auditions to separate the crooners from the caterwaulers.

The finished version includes priceless contributions from BBC Radio Derby luminaries such as Ross Fletcher, Alex Trelinski, Colin Gibson and Aleena Naylor. Find out who sang what using the link below...

Shane O'Connor said: "It's taken a lot of time and patience - and of course you've got to accommodate all those big showbiz egos!
